last night.
i was awakened by a short split-second telephone ring.
i checked the time… it said 3AM.
a few minutes later, i heard some faint noises at the rooftop. sounds like there’s someone up there.
i got out of bed, i couldn’t sleep, thinking that there’s someone trying to break in.
my phone was out of credits. my door was locked. but i was thinking he could easily pass through the other room then to the bathroom. i don’t want to make any noise. so i sat still. and i was thinking that maybe my parents heard it too and that’s the reason why they let the phone ring, just to warn me.
then, i heard someone softly going down the metal stairs from the roofdeck. my heart raised. i lay down but my eyes and ears were sharp and alert…
the neighbor’s dog suddenly barked. then i heard someone say “sssshhh”. then there was silence.
i went to the bathroom and to the other room and quietly locked the door. then went back and locked every single door behind me.
i prayed hard. i went to bed. but always woke up every now and then to check.
i peeped through the window. i see no one… he left, i thought. so i slept again.
minutes passed, just the time i woke up i saw the light went on upstairs, then suddenly went off… then i heard someone going down the stairs, but this time, boldly. so i peeped through the jalousie window and saw dad going down. he might have checked what was the problem upstairs, i thought to myself. so i went to bed.
morning came… i asked dad about it, and found out that it was him all along.
*he slept upstairs coz he had a cough and needs fresh air.
*the phone rang coz he was calling for mom.
…and all these time i was sleepless.

just thought that its time to update!
alright… we had a successful trip to manila. we were there for 3 days and on sunday, we attended the wedding of my cousin on my mom’s side, Joseph… it went very well and beautiful. it was a small wedding so it was really special. i took some pics of the event.
on the way to batangas, we passed by tagaytay and took some pictures there of Mt. Taal.

(this picture is enhanced)
this week (after arriving) i had to work on editing the wedding pics… now its done but i still have many things to do and projects lined up..
oh yea, thanks to all those who greeted me on my birthday… (personally, thru text, email, facebook, friendster, multiply, my website and in the mail!) yea, im now 22… can you believe it?!… im trying to. lol hehe anyway, i really thank God for the life that He has blessed me with… theres a lot to be thankful for… for my family, my friends, the truth, our calling, fresh air, waking up everyday, and a whole lot more… there are times that its just overwhelming… its wonderful that i feel that im not even worthy of such… and yes, i still have to work on myself, have a lot to change, learn and improve… and continue in the right direction… with God’s help.
anyways, have to go… but before i go, just wanna let you know that i already uploaded some latest pics.. just click on the picture below to go straight to the albums…

Posted on xanga last December 26, 2008.
******************************************************
hello, hello once again! it’s been a while.. my website was okay for quite some time but it went down again. its kinda frustrating. so im sorry for the inconvenience…
anyweiz… finally!! my camera is here!!!

im really enjoying it! i ordered a nikon D80 a week ago… and it arrived this monday… i was so excited… and still am. anyway, i posted some pictures that i took so you can see.
this week is the nationwide church leadership conference. it has been going on since tuesday and today is the last day and are going home tomorrow.
i got to visit and took pictures of them this afternoon after i cleaned my room, bathroom, and bathed the dog this morning. im still gonna go back early tomorrow morning to say goodbye before they check out.
the weeks prior to the conference was busy as usual… helping finishing up financial reports, statements and everything needed to be done before the conference. (and the occasional checking of what camera to buy ) hehe.
oh yea, not a very long while back we had some incidents with snakes around the house… jasmin spotted one at the garden and hid among the rocks… we each got a rifle (me, dad, and charlie) and tried to shoot it when on sight. so yea, we were able to kill it and burried it… then not long after, i spotted another one only it was even bigger… but it disappeared just before i went to see where it went. the following day jasmin also saw the same snake.. but it went out too fast… never seen it since then.
during those times (another incident) there was like a baby rattle snake that went inside the room where isis and charlie are staying temporarily… im not sure if its a rattlesnake but it looks like it… its a baby and it fights back and rattles its tail (tho too young to have a literal rattle yet).. charlie killed it.
now we’re wondering where did it come from and how was it able to get here… anyways… no more snakes so far, thankfully.
oh wells… its getting late and i still need to get up early for tomorrow… just thought of updating… (which i have been procrastinating to do). but now i did it. yay. lol.
goooooooooooooodnight!
PS: i didn’t know that my xanga can still be put to good use… its a good back-up blog.
